My Favorite Time of Year....

Can you believe it's October the 14th already. This month is almost over!! I think there is only something like 85 shopping days till Christmas. =)
Okay, okay...I won't mention it again till after Thanksgiving.
I'm so excited about this time of year. It's my favorite! Corn harvest is starting, the beautiful leaves along the Illinois Valley are beginning to change, it's just all so awesome right now.
Corn harvest brings back SO many memories for me. I love watching the combines, grain carts, and trucks roll through the fields. It's just one of those awesome things I love to watch.

Btw, when are you coming down again? We can arrange a grain truck or two, maybe even a combine drive by ;), and we can take you down the road to see the horsies lol, plus I now have the backseat on my bike and I can give you that ride you requested (although I think your dad's bike would be a heck of a lot more comfortable, rofl! he's riding a couch on wheels!!)

haha...you so funny. Believe it or not, I do get to see lots of corn and combines and grain carts (and horses!). Would take a wood stove though. =)

I don't know when our next trip out will be, right now, its not in the cards. We are still paying on our trip to Kansas when my mom got sick.
